Second book and next anthology
The title says it all. My second book, Broken Jar Of Memories, is all written out. Now, of course that doesn't mean it's ready to be published, but it means that the overall story I wanted to tell has been told. On paper. Or on my Mac, in that case.

June and Sky's story has been inspired by a premade cover I bought from the amazing Judi Perkins of Concierge Literary Designs. She's also the genius behind the Dalysian Hope cover. For this cover, I saw it and loved it. It was my first ever premade. And I haven't regretted getting it once. After talking to Judi about what it meant to her, I was more petrified than ever of writing a story that will hopefully do it justice. Whether or not I achieved it, only you, as the reader, will be able to tell.
This book is a standalone contemporary mystery. At least that's the closest definition I can think of. A story about love, loss and the power of family. Add the mystery in the mix that will hopefully keep you guessing what'll happen next, and I wrote the book I was hoping for. Now I only need to make it better than that first version that's on paper right now.
If you want to get a taste of the story, I have good news for you. I'm going to be part of another anthology this summer. "Forgotten Piece of Memory" is an introduction into "Broken Jar of Memories" and I would highly recommend getting the anthology and reading that story. Just because ... well, can't give too much away now, can I?
I don't have a release date for BJOM yet, but I'm hoping for fall. As soon as I know more, I will let you know.
That's it for Monday. I hope everyone has a wonderful week,
